Volleyball Stars Join Vistamar Melina Bolin, September 28, 2023November 3, 2023 Volume 19: Issue 1 This week, I had the opportunity to sit with five of the Vistamar freshman volleyball players. Vistamar’s volleyball teams started practicing in early August, and although they have only been playing together for a short amount of time, they have achieved great success. They have formed great relationships and a lasting bond. Here’s what these five volleyball stars had to say. 1. Sherly When did you start playing? In 7th grade. No. What is your favorite thing about your sport? The friends I’ve made by being a part of volleyball. What is your least favorite thing? Getting hurt and letting down your team. Sometimes people have different goals, so it’s harder to accomplish stuff when people aren’t on the same path. If you were going to be the coach, what would you do differently?
